East Coast Controls (ECC) are an independent privately owned business, incorporated in 1981 in Scotland's capital city of Edinburgh.
Our first location was modest but ideally located in Edinburgh to serve the city as well as all areas of the UK. It did not take long to outgrow this location and so we moved onto larger more suitable office and factory premises in Livingston and then once more to Kilsyth where we have enjoyed enormous success and growth manufacturing analogue control panels using the indestructible Staefa Klima range, many of which are still in perfect operation to this day over four decades later.
The advent of direct digital controllers in the late 80s’, early 90s’ of which we were early adopters meant we continued to grow and required more manufacturing space to meet the demand for the next generation of controls. We then upgraded further to our current 1,200m2 factory and office premises whilst remaining in the North Lanarkshire.

We are very proud to have enjoyed sustainable growth into one of the most recognised providers of Building Energy Management System’s not only in Scotland but the wider United Kingdom. Thanks to our extensive HVAC and Energy Management experience and knowledge of our expertly trained staff we have worked with thousands of clients across multiple sectors.
