In 2019 East Coast Controls installed the building energy management system that formed part of the stadiums modernisation. All gas fired boilers were replaced by new energy efficient condensing types throughout the stadium which also saw hospitality areas fully re-furbished with fan coil units’ retro fitted with modern Distech Controls unitary controllers. The undersoil heating system was also fully revamped incorporating a new East Coast Controls panel inclusive of 10" capacitive touchscreen display that the groundsmen operate and control the pitch temperature ensuring that no games or events are lost to harsh Scottish winter weather.
